Μηδείαμα - Medea's Smile
























Σαν νεκροζώντανη
μεσ' στ' αναφιλητά σου
Εσύ, η πιο μισητή
στους αιώνες,
με τα παιδιά σου
πετρωμένα
αμίλητα
σαν πεπρωμένα,
κάνεις πως συζητάς
μα αλλάζεις δρόμο
μόνο τα χέρια σου
κάπου κάπου επιστρέφουν,
γεμάτα σπαραγμό
μαστιγώνοντας
το άπειρο.

Ατελείωτα εδώ
κι εκεί, περιπλανιέσαι
πλανιέσαι
πλάνη οικτρά,
αν νομίζεις οτι
καθάρισες τοσο απλά-
αντικατοπτρισμός
απο πολύμορφο νερό
είναι οι λέξεις σου
πηγές γλυφές
μιας αντιδάνειας ροής,
που σπάζει σε χρυσάνθεμα
το χοικό της πανσελήνου,
πριν να γενεί όνειρο κίχλης.

Σαν άλικος νυσταγμός
μονάχα μια στιγμή και χάνεται 

στου κάθε Αχέροντα το διάβα 
η αρχαία λάβα'
έτσι κι η αγάπη σου.

Like an undead
within your sobs
You, the most hated
person in all eternity,
with your children
petrified
speechless
as destinies,
you act like talking
but change road,
only your hands
return every now and then,
full of heartbreak,
lashing infinity.

Endlessly here
and there, you wander
and err miserably,
if you think you 
are through so simply-
a mirage 
of diversing water
are your words
brackish springs
of a repatriated loan flow,
breaking in chrysanthemums  
humic of the full moon, before 
it becomes dream of a thrush.

Like a scarlet nystagmus
for a moment and then disappearing
in any Acheron's stream
is this ancient lava'
same is your love.
