Ευτυχία - Eutychia




















Πάντα
την χάναμε
προσμένοντας
να μας βρεί πρώτη.
Έτσι και τώρα.
Σε ακτές και θάλασσες
στα όρη και στα πεδινά.
Ανάμεσα σε τοίχους ωχρούς
που ενώνουν χωρίζοντας
οι σταχτιοί πατρικοί δρόμοι
της μητρόπολης.
Στο τρεμόσβημα των ματιών
στην ακμή του κεραυνού,
χλωρό προσάναμμα οι λέξεις
ουρλιάζουν πριν καούν,
χαράσσοντας στον πηλό
τα ξέπνογα σημάδια
της ταραγμένης νύχτας.
Το φεγγάρι ειναι πιά
ο λευκός επιπεφυκώς
του τυφλού φόβου.
Μα που να ψάχνουμε
και πάλι στα σκοτάδια;
καθότι ανυπόφορη,
βαριά κι ασήκωτη:
και ευ και τύχη
και ία.

We always
lost it, just
waiting from it
to find us first.
Same thing now.
Across coasts and seas
across mountains and lowlands.
Among pale walls
that join by separating
the ashy paternal streets
of metropolis.
In the flicker of the eyes
on the peak of thunder,
green tinders are the words
that scream before burning,
while carving on the clay 
the breathless signs
of turbulent night.
The moon has already become
the white conjuctiva
of blind fear.
So, why keep searching on
and on again, through the darkness?
Cause it's so intolerable,
heavy and unbearable:
Consists of good, fortune
and violas.
