Συμπολίτης της αποξένωσης

ψάχνω το αξιόχρεο τού φόβου

με την ελπίδα πως παράπεσε

μες στο συρτάρι τών γιασεμιών.

Η νύχτα αυτή αργοκυλάει βαθιά

στο δίκταμο τής καυτής πέτρας.

Στο χιόνι τής ημίαιμης πλαγιάς

η αυγή ανταμώνει το λιόγερμα.

Θα σας πω τι είναι γιά μένα οργή:

Οργή είναι δυό απλωμένα χέρια

δίχως πρόσωπο και δίχως σώμα

στο φίλτρο δύο βλοσυρών ματιών'

σαν ένα υποτιθέμενο φόντο ζωής

σε γκρο-πλαν ακίνητης οδύνης.

Στο μεταξύ, ακόμα ο ουρανός

σαν κύκνος τού αργού θανάτου

ερμηνεύει αμφίσημα ρέκβιεμ.

Στούς κάδους τής Αχαρνών

αντηχούν απορρίματα ψυχών.
